As Campbell posted, she and one of her classmates are off to horse camp for a week today.  It’s a few hours drive from home, so we left last night and stayed in Ballarat to break up the trip.

The only down side of this plan is that drop off time for camp is 4pm, so we had some time to kill before heading off.  We ended up at the park on the shores of the (somewhat drought ravaged) Lake Wendouree.

Now we’re back in the car, and heading off to camp.  We’ll miss her and all, but a child-free week – what bliss!
